BURSITIS
Bursitis is the inflammation or irritation of one or more of the Bursa in a particular joint. We have around 140 bursa in our bodies. They are tiny sacs filled with synovial fluid, that acts as a cushion to reduce friction between the bones, tendons, and muscles near your joints. If a joint is overused or under pressure for long periods of time from sport, work or otherwise, a nearby bursa can become inflamed. The most common locations for bursitis often occur in the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees and heels.
CAUSES
